HOURLY WAGE: $37.6008

HOURS: MONDAY TO FRIDAY – 7:00 am – 3:00 pm

Summer Hours – 6:30 am – 2:30 pm

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires an associate’s degree with course work in civil engineering, the construction industry, or related field, and five to seven years of related supervisory experience; high school diploma or GED, and ten years of experience in supervision, street construction, maintenance, and repair. Knowledge of construction, repair, and maintenance of stormwater system, and operation and maintenance of stormwater equipment, tools, etc., are required. Knowledge of scheduling daily operations and strategic planning of stormwater systems. Position required to work closely with the Public Works Superintendent.

GENERAL DEFINITION: Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Stormwater Operations, performs supervisory, technical, and skilled work directing the work of stormwater staff engaged in construction, maintenance, and repair of the public stormwater management system. This includes the inspection of facilities and coordination with the Environmental and Stormwater Compliance Manager on illicit discharge investigations within the Stormwater Section of Public Services. Position works closely with the Environmental and Stormwater Compliance Manager to ensure compliance with MS4 regulations and the municipalities NPDES permit. Performs any other stormwater-related work as directed by the Director of Stormwater Operations.
