Assistant Lacrosse Coach
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic JV Lacrosse Coach to join our Villa Joseph Marie HS team. The ideal candidate will support the Varsity coach in developing athletes' skills, promoting teamwork, and fostering a positive environment. Season Runs from March-Mid May. Monday-Friday. after school. No weekends.
Responsibilities
- Assist the head coach in planning and implementing training sessions that enhance athletes' skills and performance.
- Monitor athletes during practice sessions and competitions to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Foster a supportive team environment that encourages participation and personal development.
- Collaborate with other coaching staff to develop game strategies and training programs.
- Evaluate athlete performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
- Organize team meetings and communicate effectively with athletes and their families regarding schedules, expectations, and events.
Skills
- Coaching experience preferred but not mandatory. If you have experience in lacrosse and have an interest in coaching you are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to motivate and inspire athletes of varying skill levels.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with athletes, parents, and fellow coaches.
