Are you an experienced HVAC technician with 5+ years of residential service experience who’s ready to step into a leadership role?

Gault Heating & Cooling is seeking a Field Supervisor / Lead Service Technician to support our Service Manager and help drive performance within our service team. This position is ideal for a highly skilled technician who enjoys mentoring others, ensuring quality workmanship, and helping the team succeed.

In this role, you’ll serve as a team captain in the field, helping technicians stay aligned with company processes, supporting training and development, and ensuring our team consistently delivers excellent service to customers. If you take pride in your trade, lead by example, and want to help build a strong service team, we’d like to speak with you.

Top performers can earn up to $60/hour with incentives.

What You’ll Do

• Support the Service Manager in overseeing day-to-day field operations
• Perform ride-alongs with technicians to coach, train, and reinforce best practices
• Ensure company processes, procedures, and service standards are consistently followed
• Assist with technician development and hands-on field training
• Help monitor and support sales and performance goals within the service department
• Lead by example by delivering high-quality HVAC service and repairs
• Assist with service meetings, training sessions, and team development
• Serve as a team captain and mentor for the service team
• Diagnose, service, and repair residential HVAC systems when needed
• Maintain professionalism, safety standards, and a high level of customer service

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of residential HVAC service experience
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Leadership mindset with the ability to coach and mentor technicians
• Experience communicating repair options and solutions to homeowners
• Strong understanding of service processes, performance standards, and customer experience
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to high-quality workmanship and safety
• Ability to perform physical work including lifting up to 50 pounds
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
