We have openings for Mixer Operators at our PVC manufacturing facility in Burlington, NJ. We offer great benefits and time off. Shifts available are: Third Shift for Mixer Operators – 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

Full-Time with Required Overtime. Overtime earning potential. All hours over 40 hours are paid at time and half. Double-time premium for working more than 12 hours in a 24-hour period.

SALARY:

New Hire Rate: $22.00

Qualified Rate: $24.00

12 Month Rate: $26.00

24 Month Rate: $31.81

Job Summary for Mixer Operator: The Mixer Operator is responsible for control and proper operation of the blending process with their control for Line# 1, 2, and 3. This includes raw material identification, mixing panel set up, order of addition as per mixing cards, also verifying the correct weights are being charged into blender. The mixer will assist with mixer rest periods, cleanups, and short weights.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)

• Two years’ experience in manufacturing preferred. Having compound experience, a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions with aptitude in working with mathematical numbers.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions on all in-process quality inspections of product
• Must be detailed oriented and organized
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications
• Ability to understand mechanics of machinery and use of scales
• Excellent critical thinking skills
• Excellent interpersonal communication (verbal and written) skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels in the plant.
• Must be able to promote and encourage teamwork

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Frequent bending, standing, and walking
• Must be able to read production schedules, scale checks and charting up close and at a reasonable distance.
• Must be able to record data in a manner that is legible to others.
