Position Summary

The Clean Room Carpenter II (Project Lead) is responsible for the oversight of small to large projects by maintaining communication with clients, technicians, and reporting daily to the Project Manager. Works with subcontractors to ensure company standards and goals are met. Develops spreadsheets or other documentation to communicate with all parties on how projects are progressing and the timelines for completion. Supervises and provides hands on support as needed to include but not limited to, loading trucks, cleans, organizes tools and project boxes and assists with jobs in an emergency. Develops standard operating procedures (SOPs), performs contract reviews, site assessments and rebids when requests do not align with SOPs prior to implementation.

Essential Job Functions:

Performs all tasks required to make repairs at facilities:

Electrical

· Electrical wiring, running power and low voltage lines.

· Lighting, installation, replacement, updates.

· HEPA, installation, replacement, updates.

· Outlets and switches installed.

· Controls as need for pressure temp or humidity.

Plumbing

· Sink upgrades.

· Eye washes.

· Sprinkler caps and related water items.

HVAC

· Duct work, running fitting and fabrication.

· Plenums and build outs, cut in and or as needed.

· Hanging and support systems.

· Exhaust systems.

· Exhaust fans.

Roofing

· Not directly but from an inspection point see where issue is and what may be needed for improvement.

Carpentry

· Walls and windows install and removal.

· Flooring.

· Doors.

· Drywall and modular rooms.

· New acrylic install.

· Bumpers cut, router, fabricate and hang.

· Ceilings, tiles and updates.

· Caulking for smooth and impermeable.

Manage

· Time management for projects to meet goals and deadlines.

· Assist others in their jobs and show abilities in repairs.

· Maintain a positive attitude on your employer MTA and EPS to all personnel.

Housekeeping

· Maintain a clean and orderly project site.

· Clean up after others and yourself, demonstrate good housekeeping.

· Ability to do construction cleaning.

· 3x cleaning.

· Steramist cleaning.

· Tools are neat orderly and accounted for pre and post projects.

Documentation

· Maintain time records.

· Progress logs and daily reports back to the project manager.

· Document with pictures and other forms of collection to ensure that all items new or used are

properly accounted for.

· Maintain records of equipment used and schedule of sold items.

· Work with CFO to ensure that all aspects of the job are accounted and billed for.

Testing, Balancing and Certifying

· Certification of PEC and SEC to industry specifications.

· Balancing of SEC and exhaust systems.

· Working on CNBT and NSF and NEBB for continued improvement.

· Work on trades and skills as needed.

· Working knowledge and respect to the USP standards.

· Continued improvement to the QS and its implementation.

· Resolve issues and develop corrective actions that will make all other jobs easier.

Physical Demands

· Ability to lift up to 50lbs

· Ability to carry equipment and climb ladders.

· Ability to sit, stand, lift, bend, hold equipment, and drive for extended periods of time

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

· This is a full-time position and hours of work are typically Monday-Friday but will vary based on the

requirements of the assigned job/facility.

· Some nights and weekends and some overnight travel dependent on job/facility needs.

Travel

· Up to 85% travel within their designated territory may be required, with occasional

overnight stays.

Qualifications:

· Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

· Highly organized, exceptional customer service skills & professional appearance and behavior.

· Ability to travel, work flexible hours & adjust the schedule as required to meet customer needs.

· Must show commitment to the company’s core beliefs of integrity, safety and customer service.
