We are seeking a skilled industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Tech at Franklin Industries, you will be responsible for assembling, disassembling, installing, and maintaining vital machinery as well as performing comprehensive diagnostics on all machinery to ensure maximum and safe functionality. The Maintenance Tech must also log the use, state of repair, and replacement of all equipment.

DUTIES:

• Assemble, install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment in industrial settings.
• Fabricate parts using machine tools and equipment
• Analyze and troubleshoot machinery malfunctions
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and accurately log all maintenance
• Perform diagnostic tests on functioning machinery to ensure safe and efficient functionality
• Disassemble machinery and transport it to the appropriate storage location

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Tech

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Trade school diploma or vocational certificate preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience in heavy manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Strong math, communication, problem-solving and time management skills
• Good understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to climb on, off, and around equipment
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for periods of time
• Ability to bend, twist, lift, turn as needed
• Ability to lift item (occasionally very heavy, up to 100 pounds)
• Ability to use wrists, hands, and/or fingers for various repetitive motions
• Ability to verbally communicate
• Good eye acuity, depth perception, field of vision (with or without accommodation)

STARTING PAY - Typically between $18 and $27/hour (wage will be determined commensurate with experience). OT is paid at 1.5x pay after 40 hours. New employees are eligible for merit raises and more cross training opportunities after passing their 90-day probationary period.
