KRE Security, LLC is seeking reliable, consistent, and high-caliber Armed School Security Officers for a school district in Duncannon, PA. This position provides coverage across three separate school buildings and offers a stable weekday schedule, long-term placement, and year-round earning opportunities.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced armed security professionals, veterans, retired law enforcement, or individuals seeking a professional school security environment with steady hours and no overnight shifts.

Position Details

• Starting pay: $23.00 per hour
• Monday–Friday schedule
• 8.5-hour daylight shifts
• No overnight shifts
• Position starts in September
• Coverage across three school buildings
• Overtime opportunities available for sports, extracurricular activities, and school events
• Full-time school-year placement with additional summer and per diem opportunities available when school is out

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure school environment
• Conduct patrols of school property and grounds
• Respond to emergencies and security incidents
• Monitor entrances, visitors, and access control
• Build positive working relationships with school staff and administration
• Complete reports and required documentation professionally
• Coordinate with school officials and emergency responders when necessary

Qualifications

• Act 235 Certification preferred or ability to obtain
• Prior military, law enforcement, corrections, or armed security experience preferred
• Veterans and prior law enforcement strongly encouraged to apply
• Clean criminal background and ability to pass required screenings
