Mutual Fund Reporting Associate
Are you a highly motivated CPA with a passion for mutual fund reporting? We are seeking a talented and experienced Mutual Fund Reporting Associate to join our dynamic team.
As a Mutual Fund Reporting Associate , you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our mutual fund financial reports. You will be responsible for:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze complex financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, for mutual fund clients.
- Audit Support: Collaborate with audit teams to provide technical expertise on mutual fund accounting and reporting standards.
- Third-Party Service Provider Coordination: Manage relationships with third-party service providers (e.g., BNY Mellon, State Street, Northern Trust) to ensure seamless data exchange and accurate reporting.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of evolving regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
- Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses and prepare reports as needed to support business decision-making.
Qualifications:
- CPA designation required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in financial reporting or auditing, preferably within a Big 4 firm
- Strong understanding of mutual fund accounting and reporting standards
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in financial reporting software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, financial accounting systems)
