Summary of position : The Fiscal Clerk performs accurate and timely clerical, reporting, and analysis functions for the Business Office. Job Responsibilities (see attached for additional details): - Enter recurring and other journal entries, acquire approving signatures and ensure copies of entries along with appropriate supporting documents are filed in the journal entry files.
- Enter initial budgets, changes to budgets, and budgetary transfers.
- Complete invoicing for various programs.
- Prepare various monthly reports and tracking using information from the Accounting System, including but not limited to, salary reconciliation, Head Start, ELECT, and Homeless Youth.
Qualifications: - High school graduate with at least three (3) years bookkeeping/accounting experience required.
- Experience with computerized accounting system preferred.
- Proficiency in computer applications skills.
Schedule: Full-time, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., 1 hour lunch, 35 hours/week, 12 months/year Salary: $15.53/hour. Salary established as per AFSCME Collective bargaining Agreement, Level V.
