JOB TITLE: Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist the provider during a variety of treatment procedures
Set up and breakdown treatment operatories
Take digital x-rays
Fabricate temporary crowns within a designated time frame
Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
Adhere to all OSHA and safety policies and procedures
Provide patients with instructions for oral care following all dental treatment procedures
Perform various office tasks as necessary
All other responsibilities as deemed necessary by the immediate supervisor
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Expanded Function Dental Assistant certification is required
Proficiency in all EFDA functions
Proficiency in digital x-rays (X-ray certification is required)
Resume must demonstrate stable employment history
