Financial Systems Manager
Position Summary
The Manager, Financial Systems will both (1) lead the assessment and transformation of and (2) support the ongoing administration, enhancement, and optimization of Aquatech's financial systems. Experience with SAP EEC 6.0 is required, and experience with SAP B1 and Quickbooks is also a plus. This role will work closely with Finance and IT teams—in collaboration with Business Unit leadership—to rationalize and consolidate multiple financial systems across the company globally, implement system improvements, support reporting requirements, maintain data accuracy across financial applications, and evaluate and recommend additional financial systems/tools for implementation. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of finance processes, system integrations, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder & change management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a cross-functional team to install a single instance reporting system along with decision support tools for the Business Units
- Support the day-to-day administration of the existing financial systems, primarily SAP and other integrated tools
- Assist in the development and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and financial models within SAP
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement reporting or process improvements
- Perform data reconciliation and ensure the integrity of information flowing from source systems
- Help maintain and update system metadata, dimensions, and workflows within the SAP environment
- Establish User Experience best practices with enhance Graphic User Interfaces (GUI) for reporting and self-serve financial information access
- Monitor extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes and troubleshoot system issues as needed
- Provide end-user support and training on system functionality and reporting tools
- Participate in periodic system upgrades, enhancements, and testing
- Document key system processes and support internal control activities related to financial reporting
- Contribute to the implementation of new reporting capabilities and financial administration tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field; Master's degree a plus
- 6-8 years of experience in a finance, accounting, or financial systems role
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience with financial reporting or EPM tools (SAP highly preferred)
- Experience working with multinational or global entities that consolidate multiple subsidiaries and reporting structures
- Experience working with source data integrations and conducting data reconciliations
- Strong understanding of financial statements and US GAAP principles
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience rationalizing and/or consolidating multiple ERP systems and Charts of Accounts
- Experience supporting system upgrades or enterprise-level reporting initiatives
- Experience automating manual (primarily Microsoft Excel-based) processes and reports using native SAP or other COTS solutions
- Experience in infrastructure or capital project-intensive industries, and/or experience with Private Equity-backed platforms, is advantageous
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Primarily office-based; prolonged exposure to computer screens and keyboard use required
- Occasional travel (up to 25%) may be necessary, including international travel to regional business unit headquarters
- May be required to sit for extended periods

Aquatech has an immediate need for a full-time Financial System Manager to work in our Canonsburg, PA, office. The hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Financial System Manager will perform the duties described in the below and will be considered an Exempt employee.
