Location: Wyoming, PA 18644
Employment Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday)
Salary: Starting at $60,000 w/ a current sign-on bonus of $2,500

Your Role as a Behavioral Consultant:

• Assess Student Behavior: Evaluate the initial and ongoing behavioral strengths and needs of students according to school assessment protocols and timelines.
• Attend Meetings: Actively participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and other relevant school meetings.
• Develop Behavior Goals: Create behavior goals for the IEP and develop Positive Behavior Support Plans for students.
• Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA): Perform FBAs for students, as needed, under the direction of a BCBA.
• Data Collection System: Develop a system for staff to collect data that supports interventions and track behavioral changes.
• Analyze Data & Create Behavior Plans: Analyze FBA results and data sheets to develop individualized behavior intervention plans, using input from others involved with the student.
• Track Behavior Data: Collect and graph behavior data recorded by school staff to analyze the effectiveness of the Positive Behavior Support Plan.

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Psychology, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or other related fields of study. 
• Current enrollment in an ABA program with the intent to pursue BCBA certification.
• Prior experience applying ABA principles in therapeutic or educational settings.

Preferred/Nice to have:

• Working knowledge of ABA, mental health, and therapeutic methodologies.
• Experience delivering behavioral interventions and supporting individuals with emotional and behavioral challenges.
• Previous experience working with students with special needs, including IEP and BIP implementation.
• Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
