Bustling Northern Liberties restaurant is seeking support staff and Food Runners.

Support Person

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform bussing responsibilities such as clearing empty glasses, plates, napkins, and trash from bar top and tables
• Maintain overall appearance and cleanliness of bar
• Perform clean-ups of spills or other customer accidents as needed
• Wash and polish all glassware
• Check and re-stock ice bins
• Follow all opening, closing, and weekly sidework procedures during each shift

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Experience in barbacking or bussing preferred
• Ability to perform well under pressure
• Detail-oriented, organized, clean
• Able to follow instructions and willing to ask questions
• Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
• Must have a flexible schedule (may be required to work late shifts, weekends, or holidays as needed)

Runner

Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests quickly and accurately
• Ensure each dish is presented properly and delivered to the correct table
• Communicate clearly with servers, bartenders, and kitchen team members throughout service
• Describe dishes to guests as needed and assist in maintaining a high level of hospitality
• Support servers with table maintenance, including clearing plates and resetting tables as needed
• Assist in keeping service stations stocked, clean, and organized
• Monitor dining room flow and anticipate team needs during busy service periods
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards

Requirements Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying composed and detail-oriented
• Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
• Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods and carry trays or plates safely
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Genuine enthusiasm for hospitality and guest service
