What You’ll Do

• Lead & Mentor: Grow and guide a high-performing engineering team built on collaboration, curiosity, and excellence.
• Plan & Execute: Define technical roadmaps, manage product backlogs, and deliver scalable features.
• Architect & Build: Drive the evolution of HomeBinder and new consumer platforms using Elixir , Phoenix , and PostgreSQL .
• Develop Hands-On: Contribute to the codebase, conduct reviews, and champion best practices.
• Modernize & Scale: Modernize legacy systems, optimize performance on AWS , and ensure clean, maintainable code.
• Collaborate: Partner with product, design, and stakeholders to turn ideas into elegant, real-world solutions.

Who You Are

A proven engineering leader (5+ years full-stack, 2+ in leadership) who’s shipped complex products and thrives in growth environments.

• Skilled with relational databases (PostgreSQL)
• Experienced in Git workflows, testing, and cloud deployment (AWS preferred)
• Excellent communicator and systems thinker with strong organizational instincts

Bonus Points

• Elixir / Phoenix / Ash Framework
• Retool & JavaScript
• Ruby on Rails
• Figma or design system experience
• Proptech or data-heavy product experience
• Open-source contributions
