Customer Service Representative

Job Summary:
The Customer Service Representative will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding support to our customers. This position involves actively addressing inquiries, effectively resolving issues, and fostering a positive customer experience at every interaction.
What you will be doing
- Process customer purchase orders, including order entry, acknowledgment, part setup, and pricing verification.
- Manage customer accounts and handle communications via phone and email.
- Adapt and provide support for additional accounts as needed.
- Prepare quotations and follow up with customers.
- Enter purchase order requisitions.
- Report and resolve customer complaints.
- Maintain organized files.
- Collaborate effectively in a team environment.
What will make you successful?
Required Education/Experience :
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of customer service experience required.
- Less than 10% travel.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications :
- Experience in extrusion or manufacturing customer service is desirable.
- Familiarity with Oracle P.O. management is considered an asset.
- Exposure to inventory and planning processes.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
- Working knowledge of AS400 is an asset.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in handling customer interactions via telephone and email.
- Highly organized, self-starter, and detail-oriented.
- Adaptable to change and able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Strong math skills.
