What You'll Be Doing:

In this role, you will be part of the team responsible for providing technical expertise and engineering support for the development, design implementation and maintenance of mechanical and production systems with a view toward improving production efficiency and plant reliability, reducing manufacturing costs and improving safety standards.

Key Duties

To be responsible for the development, implementation, and monitoring of predominately short term (0- 12 months) plans to ensure the achievement of objectives related to a given engineering discipline.

To solve problems, sometimes in the face of limited or vague information, that may affect multiple disciplines and departments.

To respond and assist in accident and incident investigations.

To regularly communicate technical information and influence internally at all site levels and with external engineering contractors, suppliers and regulators of core discipline engineering matters.

Provide plant and process troubleshooting skills to manufacturing assets ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum.

Lead/participate in hazard studies and participate in process hazard reviews including carrying out risk assessments with assigned plant areas.

Identify areas for improvement and to generate original thinking in design and development.

Make decisions in relation to specific situations and may be inherently complex in nature with the results regularly reviewed.

Approach tasks with creativity and continual improvement while working under the direction of a line manager with regular referral.

Perform all duties within the Company's safety, health & environmental regulations.

Work as part of a larger departmental team.

*Who We're Looking For: *

Minimum of 2-4 years' Process Engineering experience in an industrial environment.

Experience in the Specialty Chemical processing industry is preferred.

Competency in core engineering disciplines required.

Ability to prioritize workload with competing priorities.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemical or similar technical field preferred.

Proficiency in MS Office. Must have oral and written proficiency in the English language.

This on-site position islocated in Mill Hall, PA.

Ability to walk, sit or stand for a minimum of 8 hours. May be required to move throughout production areas on uneven surfaces, climb ladders and/or stairs and be exposed to outside weather conditions for extended periods. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
