Position Overview

Brighter Therapy is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist with wound care experience to join our team.

This role focuses on the evaluation and treatment of patients with:

• Chronic wounds
• Venous ulcers
• Pressure injuries
• Post-surgical wounds
• Diabetic wounds
• Skin integrity impairments
• Mobility limitations impacting healing

The ideal candidate is experienced in wound management, highly organized, and passionate about improving patient outcomes through evidence-based care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with acute and chronic wounds
• Perform wound assessments, measurements, and documentation
• Implement evidence-based wound care interventions
• Monitor healing progression and communicate changes to physicians and healthcare teams
• Educate patients and caregivers on wound prevention, skin integrity, positioning, and offloading strategies
• Develop individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, circulation, and healing potential
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation
• Provide services in clinic and community/home settings as needed

QualificationsRequired

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in Pennsylvania
• Experience in wound care management
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills

Preferred

• Experience with:
• Venous wounds
• Pressure injuries
• Diabetic wounds
• Post-surgical wound management
• Experience in outpatient, home health, or skilled nursing settings
• Familiarity with compression therapy and skin integrity management
