Job Description

As a Security Officer Truck Gate and Patrol in Topton, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor activity, and conduct routine patrols to help deter incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will deliver outstanding customer service while supporting a secure environment through clear communication, teamwork, and integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor badges, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including building entrances, parking areas, shipping and receiving locations, and the facility perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership, documenting observations, incidents, and policy violations in required reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
