Collision Technician Responsibilities:
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
- Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems
- Communicate directly with the Collision Manager so that customers and insurance companies can be informed if any additional service is needed
- Provide estimates of time needed for additional repairs
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Collision Technician Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience as a collision technician
- Knowledge in all aspects of collision repair and frame repair helpful
- Fast, eager learner and team player
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Clean driving record & valid driver’s license
