Respiratory Therapist Job Details

• Location: Scranton, PA 18510 (Northeastern Pennsylvania)
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital – Respiratory Therapy Unit
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (August 18, 2025 – November 16, 2025)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM); every other weekend and holiday required
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2020 - $2070
• Employment Type: Travel Respiratory Therapist

Registered Respiratory Therapist Qualifications

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital or acute care setting
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, including every other weekend and holidays
• Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (preferred)

Respiratory Therapist Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality respiratory care to patients in a hospital environment
• Assess, plan, and implement respiratory therapy interventions for diverse patient populations
• Monitor patient progress and adjust respiratory treatments as necessary
