Location: 300 Country Club Road, Meadowlands, PA 15347 (IGS Aerospace and Defense Division)

Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM (No Rotating Shifts!)

(Please note: the post rate includes a $5.00 per hour shift differential)

About the Role

We are seeking a Waterjet Operator to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. As a Waterjet Operator, you will be responsible for operating waterjet cutting equipment to produce customer parts according to order specifications while maintaining our high quality standards. You will also perform quality inspections to ensure finished products meet all required specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate waterjet cutting machinery safely and efficiently.
• Produce customer parts according to work orders, blueprints, and specifications.
• Perform quality inspections to verify parts meet dimensional and quality requirements.
• Read and interpret 2D blueprints and work instructions.
• Load, unload, and handle materials using overhead cranes and tow motors after certification.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Communicate production issues and quality concerns to supervisors.
• Assist with other production-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability and willingness to participate in company- and customer-required safety training and certifications.
• Ability to read and interpret 2D blueprints.
• Ability to obtain Overhead Crane Certification through company-provided training.
• Ability to obtain Tow Motor (Forklift) Certification through IGS (valid driver's license required).
• Strong attention to detail with solid mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and safely operate manufacturing equipment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
