Erosion Control Technician

As an Erosion Control Team Member or Leader, you will play a key role in implementing best practices to prevent soil erosion, maintain compliance with environmental regulations, and support the safe and efficient progress of home building projects. Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, and maintain erosion control measures such as silt fences, sediment basins, and erosion mats according to project specifications.
- Lead or support team members in executing erosion control plans on active construction sites.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess the effectiveness of erosion control measures and promptly address any issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and site conditions.
- Assist in managing contracts for erosion control materials and services, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Participate in safety meetings and promote a culture of safety awareness among team members.
Qualifications
- Experience working on construction sites, particularly with erosion control or civil construction projects.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including standing, walking, lifting heavy materials, and performing manual tasks.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members, engineers, contractors, and clients.
