Job Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license or compact RN license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• At least 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience or related acute care experience
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care in Labor & Delivery
• Collaborate with physicians, patients, families, and interdisciplinary care team members to support safe outcomes
• Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
• Provide direct bedside nursing care in accordance with professional standards and unit policies
• Direct and support nursing staff as needed to help ensure quality patient care
• Document care accurately and maintain a high standard of clinical practice
