Superintendent - Construction

Superintendent – General Construction 📍 Conshohocken, PA 19428 (Eastern PA)
💵 $60–$70/hr | Temp-to-Hire / Contract-to-Hire

Summary

We are seeking a Superintendent to oversee construction site activities and coordinate daily work across multiple projects in Eastern Pennsylvania (sites include West Point, PA; Swiftwater, PA; and Wilmington, DE). This role requires strong leadership, field presence, and a commitment to safety while ensuring projects stay on schedule and within scope.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct project meetings with contractors and stakeholders
• Maintain project documentation, logs, and submittal reviews
• Perform on-site inspections, walkdowns, and construction administration tasks
• Track work-in-place and construction progress; report daily activities
• Coordinate site activities with other Superintendents and Trade Foremen
• Support change management, invoicing, and turnover processes
• Ensure compliance with design specifications and drawings
• Champion safety by conducting walkdowns and reinforcing site protocols

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of construction site experience
• 2+ years in a supervisory role (General Foreman, Superintendent, or Construction Manager)
• Strong understanding of building systems, project delivery, and contract management
• Experience managing complex project schedules and supporting startup processes
• Background in large-scale industrial/manufacturing projects ($25M–$500M+)
• Knowledge of commissioning and qualification processes (MEP systems)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering (not required)
• Life Science / Biopharma facility construction experience
• Familiarity with startup of equipment/systems in manufacturing environments
• Understanding of regulatory and qualification requirements in biopharma projects
