About the Role:
The Humanity Gifts Registry is seeking a full-time Administrative and Program Assistant to provide essential administrative and program support and to coordinate donor intake activities. In this role, you will serve as a primary point of contact for external callers, support donor and family communications, maintain accurate records, and assist with day-to-day operations.
This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable communicating with the public by phone and email, and motivated by meaningful, mission-driven work.
Responsibilities
● Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming external phone calls, providing accurate routing and informative responses
● Coordinate donor intakes, including collection, organization, and management of related documentation
● Communicate professionally with donors, donor families, and associated businesses via phone and email
● Provide administrative support to the organization, including scheduling meetings and handling mail
● Assist with event planning and execution.
● Maintain and update donor databases.
● Digitize paper records
● Other administrative and program support duties as assigned
Qualifications
● Demonstrated administrative experience in a professional setting; two or more years preferred
● Experience interacting professionally with the public via phone, including call triage and routing, two or more years preferred
● Ability to communicate professionally and compassionately with diverse populations
● Funerary or medical background and/or knowledge preferred
● Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
● Self-motivated with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
● Able to work independently and collaboratively.
● Proficient in Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
● Proficient in Adobe Acrobat.

Pay : $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
Schedule : 7 hour shift, 8AM-3PM, Monday to Friday
