Associate Service Technician - O'Hara, PA

Purpose : This is a position that provides technician support for service and repair of Bayer injectors at the Bayer Radiology Product Supply site in O'Hara Twp Pa. This position is also responsible for adhering to the Bayer DSO values.

Focuses on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing production. Operates machines or equipment, setting up and adjusting factors such as temperature, pressure, flow, and material reactions. Manually controls the unit or operates it via a control system. Runs up and shuts down production facilities, including product changeover activities. Cleans and decontaminates equipment. Maintains housekeeping of the workplace. Drives forklifts. Fills and takes over tank wagons. Conducts routine analytics and takes samples. Coordinates equipment maintenance and repairs with the technical team. Documents and communicates work results during shift handovers.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Repair, test and inspection of medical device products to ensure availability in market, in safe and cost-efficient manner, within regulatory requirements

• Technical Proficiency : Demonstrate expertise in utilizing a wide array of analytical and technical tools across mechanical and electrical disciplines. Follow all quality standards and record all data related to product traceability.

• Proactive Engagement : Actively seek out assignments and opportunities to expand the scope of tasks. Participate in selected technical activities as needed.

• Analytical Skills : Utilize strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within primary disciplines effectively.

• Project Management : Manage concurrent projects while understanding task priorities. Plan and organize daily activities to ensure timely completion of assignments.

• Creative Problem Solving : Develop innovative solutions to challenges, leveraging technical knowledge and analytical skills.

WHO YOU ARE:

Bayer seeks and incumbent who possesses the following:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma/GED

• Possesses the analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.

• A minimum of 1 year experience in repair or assembly of electro-mechanical products.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $45,936.20 to $68,904.57. Additional compensation may include a bonus or incentive compensation (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc..

This salary range is merely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant's location, market data/ranges, an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
