Customer Service Representative

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team on a contract basis in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This role involves assisting attendees during a conference by providing directions, distributing badges, and offering general event support. The ideal candidate will bring excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail to ensure a positive experience for all guests. Responsibilities: - Distribute badges to conference attendees in an organized and efficient manner. - Provide information about event locations, including restrooms and nearby food options. - Assist guests with directions and ensure they feel welcomed and supported. - Maintain a neat and attentive appearance and demeanor while interacting with attendees. - Address any questions or concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction. - Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth event operations. - Stay informed about the event layout and schedule to provide accurate guidance. - Handle inquiries with a polite and customer-focused approach. - Ensure all assigned tasks are completed with attention to detail and efficiency. Requirements - Previous experience in customer service, preferably in call centers or events. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively assist guests. - Ability to handle inquiries and provide solutions with attention to detail. - Familiarity with order entry and managing inbound and outbound calls. - Comfortable working in office attire, such as skirts, pants, or blouses. - Capability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. - Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and guest needs. - Proven ability to collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive work environment.
