Food Service Substitute

STS & Columbia Borough School District are hiring Food Service Substitutes for all Columbia Borough Schools (Columbia High, Columbia Middle (Hill (7th/8th & Taylor (5th/6th) Campuses, and Park Elem) for Food Service at $14.00 per hour.

The work is per diem with flexibility to work as many or as little days a month.

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Associate to join our team at Substitute Teacher Service. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the food service operations within educational institutions, ensuring that students receive nutritious meals in a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to students and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food service area.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food handling.
• Provide excellent customer service to students and staff during meal times.
• Support catering events and special functions as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to optimize food quality and presentation.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
