Company: Hayatt Health Service Hayatt Health Service is seeking a highly organized, reliable, and fast-thinking Dispatcher to support our growing ambulance and medical transportation operations throughout Philadelphia and surrounding counties. This role is critical to daily operations. The dispatcher is responsible for coordinating crews, managing trip flow, communicating with facilities and field staff, monitoring transport status, handling schedule changes in real time, and helping ensure patients are transported safely and on time. We are looking for someone who thrives under pressure, communicates clearly, multitasks effectively, and takes ownership of operations. Responsibilities
- Dispatch and monitor BLS, ALS, wheelchair, dialysis, discharge, and appointment transports
- Coordinate crews, vehicles, and trip assignments throughout the day
- Communicate professionally with hospitals, rehab facilities, nursing facilities, dialysis centers, and medical offices
- Handle incoming transport requests and collect accurate trip information
- Monitor trip status and respond quickly to delays, schedule changes, and operational issues
- Track crew availability, coverage gaps, and unit status
- Maintain accurate dispatch records and scheduling information
- Assist with recurring trip scheduling and next-day operational planning
- Work closely with management to maintain operational efficiency and coverage reliability
- Ensure dispatch communication remains professional, clear, and timely
- Prioritize multiple active transports and make real-time operational decisions under pressure
- Previous dispatch, EMS, transportation, logistics, medical office, or customer service experience preferred
- EMS, ambulance, NEMT, or medical transportation experience strongly preferred
- EMT certification, EMS experience, ambulance dispatch experience, or medical transportation coordination experience strongly preferred
- Experience with dispatch, CAD, routing, or NEMT software systems such as MediRoutes preferred
- Strong communication and multitasking abilities
- Ability to remain calm and organized under pressure
- Basic computer proficiency required
- Knowledge of Philadelphia and surrounding areas preferred
- Must be dependable, punctual, responsive, and detail-oriented
