Production Worker
Job Title: Production Worker
Shift
1st shift Monday-Friday 6 am-2:20 pm paying $17.75 an hour plus OT
Responsibilities
- Inspect panels or parts to verify specifications meet quality standards while maintaining established production standards.
- Read and follow established Manufacturing Operating Procedures or Standard Operating Procedures without deviation unless approved.
- Complete production reporting and quality paperwork accurately as required.
- Efficiently use banding equipment and hand-jacks to ensure proper movement or storage of product or material.
- Place materials such as panels or tile in machines or on conveyors in the prescribed manner and sequence while maintaining smooth flow of operations.
- Perform various trimming, indexing, or cutting procedures as required.
- Keep supervisor informed of problems and equipment that is not operating properly.
- Maintain good housekeeping and follow established safety procedures.
- Learn and have a working knowledge of all equipment and machinery within the Understructure department.
- Position parts and monitor operations on equipment while producing product at established production standards.
- Make minor setups including changing plate sizes and setups for various sized tubes and studs.
Essential Skills
- High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent experience.
- Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to interface with a diverse workforce.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. repetitively unassisted for an 8-hour shift.
- Proficiency in using various tools and measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, tape measure, dial indicator, and feeler gauges.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and crouch for an 8-hour shift.
- Skill in handling or feeling machinery, equipment, or parts, and working near moving mechanical parts.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and machine operation is a plus.
- Familiarity with micrometers and calipers is advantageous.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Red Lion, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.75 - $17.75/hr.
