**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at a healthcare location.
+ Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, following established guidelines.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain a secure environment.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
+ Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
+ Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, patients, visitors, and/or law enforcement as needed.
+ Support access control procedures, ensuring only authorized individuals are permitted entry to designated areas within the facility.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Vaccines are required for hospital assignments.
+ Assignment to hospital morgue areas may be required.
+ Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital environment may be required.
+ CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
