Pizza Chef
We are a new family owned pizzeria and we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pizza and Prep Cook to join our team. If you have a passion for food (specifically pizza) with a background in food preparation and cooking and have open availability, we want to hear from you.
You will be:
- Preparing and cooking a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and specialty orders to ensure each pizza meets our quality standards;
- Ensuring all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and standards;
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling practices;
- Monitoring inventory levels of ingredients and supplies; assisting with restocking as needed;
- Helping with order taking and cleaning (wipe downs, dishes, etc.) as needed;
- Part of an enthusiastic team and must be a team player.
- Asked to work weekends and nights.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years previous experience in cooking and/or kitchen food preparation; pizzeria experience a plus
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Experience with understanding and prepping for special dietary needs and allergies;
- Proficient knife skills
