This position is responsible for assembling, packaging, and inspecting medical devices in accordance with established quality and production standards. This role includes working with chemicals, machines, and measurement equipment. The individual must follow procedures, policies, and applicable regulatory requirements to meet the standards outlined in the organization's Quality Policy.

Shift : Monday - Friday 3pm - 11pm with Overtime on Saturdays

Responsibilities

  • Follows established procedures and guidelines to manufacture products according to specifications and schedules, while meeting volume, cost, waste, and quality targets.
  • Operates machines and production equipment safely and in accordance with instructions.
  • Monitors product quality to identify, discard, or rework non-conforming products.
  • Maintains accurate daily production records to support performance tracking and analysis.
  • Ability to work a non-standard schedule as needed.
  • Regular and predictable on-site attendance.

  • Applies basic working knowledge of the technical field or area of specialization.
  • Uses general application of principles, theories, and concepts to perform assigned tasks.
  • Demonstrates basic shop floor competencies.
  • Works under close supervision with detailed instructions; work is routinely checked and monitored.
  • Exercises limited judgment in resolving routine problems.
  • Interacts primarily with direct supervisors, peers, and team members.

Preferred Knowledge & Skills

  • Ability to use fine motor skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong hand dexterity for intricate hand assembly work.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems to improve quality and processes, including experience with lean tools.
  • Prior manufacturing experience involving intricate hand assembly preferred.
  • Good reading comprehension and basic math skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a professional manner, both written and verbal.
  • Flexibility to work based on business needs.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to rotate across positions within the business unit.
  • Basic computer skills.

Qualifications – Experience / Training / Education

Required

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1+ year of related experience OR completion of PBS requirements and successful assessment at the appropriate level.

Preferred

  • Applicable industry or professional certification.

Physical Requirements Clean Room Environment that includes full garbing. ISO 8 Regulations.

Salary $21.38 per hour plus shift differential
