Our client has built something genuinely special in the daytime dining space — elevated, full-service breakfast and brunch destinations where the pastries are made from scratch, the coffee and tea program is curated and intentional, and the service standard feels more like a fine dining room than your average morning spot.

These aren't diners. These aren't cafés. These are destination restaurants that happen to be open before noon — and guests are obsessed with them.

The brand is growing. And they need two District Managers who know how to lead culture, develop people, and run a tight multi-unit operation — one in New York City and one in the DC/Northern Virginia market.

The Role

You'll lead 6 to 10 locations in your market, reporting to senior leadership, and operate as the standard-bearer for everything this brand stands for — hospitality, food quality, team culture, and guest obsession.

This is not a paper-pushing district manager role. You are in the restaurants. You are developing your managers. You are the reason the brand feels the same whether a guest walks into location one or location ten.

What You'll Own

• Multi-unit operational leadership across your market — people, culture, and performance
• Building and coaching General Managers who lead with hospitality first
• Protecting food quality and service standards — scratch pastries, world-class coffee program, elevated daytime dining experience
• Driving P&L results across the portfolio — revenue, labor, cost controls
• Championing a culture so strong that your teams feel it and guests feel it
• Supporting new openings and brand growth in your market

Who We're Looking For

✅ Currently in a multi-unit District Manager or above role — 5+ locations minimum ✅ Background in full-service, elevated casual, or café/bakery concepts strongly preferred ✅ A culture builder first — your teams perform because they believe in what they're doing ✅ Strong morning/daytime operational chops — you understand the rhythm of this daypart ✅ Must live in or immediately relocatable to NYC or DC/Northern Virginia ✅ Someone who leads by presence, not by email
