Job Title: CNC Setup Operator

IMMEDIATE OPENINGS ON 1ST AND 2ND SHIFT

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of experience in setup of CNC Swiss screw machines; strong CNC mill or lathe setup experience will also be considered.
• Hands-on experience with CNC setup, including loading programs, setting tools, and making offset adjustments.
• Ability to interpret part drawings and GD&T requirements accurately.
• Solid understanding of inspection and gauging techniques using calipers, micrometers, comparators, plug gages, and ring gages.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and debug CNC machines and processes.
• Knowledge of equipment operation routines, basic shop math, and precision measuring instruments (manual and digital).
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding tolerances and CNC programs.
• Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Proficiency with personal computers and Windows-based applications.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience setting up and operating Star CNC screw machines with Fanuc controls and Citizen CNC screw machines with Mitsubishi controls.
• Familiarity with Mastercam or similar CAM software for CNC programming and program editing.
• Experience with CNC lathes and mills, with skills that can translate to CNC screw machine operations.
• Experience with Oracle, SAP, or similar inventory control systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills related to machining, tooling, and process optimization.
• Ability to perform basic preventative maintenance on CNC screw machines.
• Comfort working with very small parts and tight tolerances common in dental equipment manufacturing.

This is a Permanent position based out of Lancaster, PA.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Lancaster,PA.
