Remote Oversight and Advocacy Specialist - Licensing Technician
Job Description
Job Description
As a Licensing Technician for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, your work becomes a direct line of protection for some of the Commonwealth’s most vulnerable residents. Every inspection you coordinate, complaint you prioritize, and incident you review helps ensure that licensed facilities operate safely, ethically, and in compliance with the law. This role offers the rare reward of knowing that your daily efforts translate into real-world accountability, safer environments, and stronger oversight for individuals and families who rely on these services.

From managing data systems and reports to helping shape policies and regulations, you will have a voice in improving how programs operate across the Commonwealth. The work is varied, challenging, and intellectually engaging—perfect for someone who values problem-solving with purpose.
Most importantly, this role offers the fulfillment of public service with stability and support. As part of the Commonwealth of PA, you will contribute to a trusted system of oversight while gaining experience that builds long-term career value. You’ll work alongside dedicated professionals who share a commitment to integrity, public safety, and advocacy. If you are motivated by protecting others, strengthening systems, and making a measurable difference, this role delivers both personal and professional rewards.
