Job Summary
We're seeking a skilled Window Treatment Installer to join our
growing installation team. In this role, you'll travel to client sites to
measure, install, and maintain a variety of window coverings, ensuring flawless
execution and exceptional customer service. This is a dynamic position for
someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys problem-solving on
the job. Duties Key Responsibilities
- Conduct precise on-site measurements for custom window treatments, including blinds, shades, shutters, and curtains.
- Install window treatments using hand tools, power tools, and mounting hardware, adhering to safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues, such as uneven fittings or mechanical adjustments.
- Provide clear explanations to customers about product features, care instructions, and warranty details.
- Maintain a clean, organized work vehicle and tools, and complete job documentation (e.g., photos, checklists) for quality assurance.
- Collaborate with the sales and design team to ensure installations align with client specifications.
- Occasionally assist with inventory management and basic repairs in our warehouse.
- Manage the in-store displays and update as needed
- Assist Customers in the showroom
· 2+ years of experience in window treatment installation, carpentry, or a related trade.
· Familiarity and Expertise with Hunter Douglas products is preferred.
· Proficiency with tools like drills, levels, ladders, and measuring devices.
· Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (company vehicle provided for consultations and installations).
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights (e.g., using ladders or scaffolding).
· Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and a customer-focused mindset.
· High school diploma or equivalent; trade certification a plus.
· Background check required.
· Must be friendly and a team player.
