OEM Area Sales Manager - Northeast
Eaton\u2019s ES AMER NAS division is currently seeking an OEM Area Sales Manager - Northeast. Candidates for this position must reside within 50 miles from one of the following locations to be considered for this position: Moon Township, PA; Boothwyn, PA; Hanover, MD or Richmond, VA.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nPosition Overview: \nEaton Corporation\u2019s North America Electrical Sales Division has an immediate opening for an OEM Area Sales Manager. The role will report to the Regional Sales Director and will be responsible for leading a team of EOEM \u0026 MOEM sales engineers.\n\nIn this function you will: \n\n\u2022 Manage key customers within the assigned market and customer base, sales resources, products and channels to market to achieve planned results for the district \n\u2022 Provide leadership and development to a sales team consisting of sales professionals, sales reps \nand the distributor channel \n\u2022 Lead growth in sales and market share, channel development, as well as developing talent within the district \n\u2022 Create account strategies, monthly performance reporting and driving collaboration efforts with key division support personnel \n\u2022 Focus on talent acquisition and development within the district\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nRequired (Basic) Qualifications: \n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree from an accredited institution \n\u2022 Minimum seven (7) years of electrical industry sales/marketing and/or engineering and/or operations experience \n\u2022 Possess a valid driver\u2019s license \n\u2022 No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Moon Township, PA; Boothwyn, PA; Hanover, MD or Richmond, VA will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.\n\nPreferred Qualifications: \n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree in Business, Industrial, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering \n\u2022 Seven plus (7+) years of electrical industry sales experience \n\u2022 Manager of people experience \n\n## Skills:\n\nPosition Criteria: \n\u2022 Possess excellent communication skills \n\u2022 Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future \n\u2022 Previous experience managing people and channels \n\u2022 Superior knowledge of sales techniques, customers, customer relations and employee development \n\u2022 Analytical thinking capability, leveraging data-driven arguments to make decisions \n\u2022 Negotiation skills and expertise, ability to cope with ambiguity and work through complex problems and manage conflict \n\u2022 Strong knowledge of managing products, product applications and distribution channels \n\u2022 Significant sales presence such as that the candidate can clearly command in difficult sales situations \n\u2022 Experience in growing sales and market share, channel development and developing employees \n\u2022 Ability to travel up to 50%\n\nAll positions may require participation in video and in-person interviews as part of the hiring process. All candidates will be evaluated based on job-related competencies, and all candidates\u2019 privacy rights and data security will be protected in accordance with applicable laws. \n\nThe compensation range for this full-time position includes base pay and target sales performance incentive.
