Founded in 2007, Slaymaker Rentals offers high-quality equipment that enables farmers, contractors, and homeowners to complete their projects efficiently. From lifts and excavators to skid loaders and forklifts, we serve customers across Pennsylvania and surrounding states. What you'll do as a Parts & Inventory Specialist:
- Oversee daily parts operations, including ordering, receiving, labeling, and storage.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels to ensure the correct parts are available when needed.
- Collaborate with technicians to identify and source parts for repairs and maintenance.
- Build strong relationships with vendors to negotiate pricing and delivery timelines.
- Process customer parts sales and provide knowledgeable, friendly service.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies in the system.
- Track & report on parts usage, costs, and departmental performance metrics.
- Create & fine-tune organizational systems to enhance inventory accuracy and workflow efficiency.
- Keep a clean, organized, and safe work area that reflects company standards.
- Work full-time, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (approximately 45 hours per week).
Our Ideal Parts & Inventory Specialist:
- Experienced: At least two years of experience in parts, inventory, or warehouse management, ideally within a mechanical, rental, or construction equipment environment.
- Organized & Detailed: Keeps inventory accurate, parts accessible, and priorities clear—even when the pace picks up.
- Customer-Focused Communicator: Works effectively with technicians, vendors, and customers, consistently maintaining professionalism and clarity.
- Hands-on & Resourceful: Enjoys mechanical environments, stays proactive in problem-solving, and takes ownership of keeping operations running smoothly.
- Dependable: Demonstrates integrity, dedication, and efficiency in every task, supporting our mission and faith-based culture.
