COUNSELOR AIDE

The Counselor Aide provides direct patient care under the supervision of the Clinical Coordinator/Supervisor or Charge Nurse. Primary responsibilities include the provision of a safe and therapeutic milieu, crisis intervention and activities of daily living. This position is day shift 6:30am - 3:00 pm with every other weekend rotation.

Roxbury Treatment Center, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc., has been a beacon of hope and healing for over 35 years, serving those struggling with behavioral health and substance use issues. Located in Shippensburg, PA., our 112-bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as, an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17. We also have two substance use disorder outpatient offices in Carlisle and Chambersburg. Qualifications:

High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in Psychology or other related field or Licensed nurse/CNA with a minimum of one year experience in a behavioral healthcare environment or equivalent experience preferred.
