Simplex Homes, a leader in Modular Home Construction , is seeking a Purchasing Manager. Knowledge of building materials along with residential and light commercial construction is a plus. Will train a positive candidate for this position.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Perform take offs from sales orders and blueprints
- Prepare and issue purchase orders
- Direct and manage subordinates
- Negotiate pricing
Skills:
- Strong leadership capabilities
- Ability to read blueprints
- Knowledge of Excel, Word
- Strong ability to communicate with other departments
- Familiarity with inventory management
