Job Overview:
We are searching for an SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Senior Consultant with 5+ years of experience in SAP Integrations (SAP Cloud Integration, CI Data Services, PI/PO) and Java Application Development.
This position will be a hybrid of technical BTP Integration Suite work along with team lead responsibility of the technical skills development plan for a group of 4 newly certified BTP / CAPM junior developers. The successful candidate will have a unique combination of Integration Suite technical competence along with strong experience in mentoring and developing junior resources.
Requirements:
- SAP Cloud: SAP BTP, SAP Cloud Integration (Neo/Cloud Foundry), SAP CPI - DS, Cloud Connector, SAP Open Connector, SAP Cockpit
- SAP: SAP PI 7.0, SAP PI 7.1, NW PO 7.31/7.4/7.5 (AEX/SAP BPM), ECC
- Languages: Java, Groovy, ABAP, ASP, C, C++, Java Scripts, VB ScriptsXML XML, XSLT, WSDL, SOAP, BPEL4WS, BPMN
- Web Technologies: JavaScript, CSS, HTML, XML, SAX/DOM
- RDBMS: Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL
- Tools: TOAD, SoapUI, MySQL GUI
- IDE s: NetWeaver Developer Studio, Eclipse, Intellij
- Demonstrated command of programming languages: C and/or other 4GL languages with Object Oriented programming concepts.
- Knowledge of front-end languages: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Bash.
- Understanding of cloud services and platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Familiarity with Database technologies, Data Modelling, preferably on HANA
- Understanding of network protocols, database schema, and software development life cycle.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools like GitHub, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum practices
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining a sound SAP PI/PO and SAP CPI production environment.
- SAP BTP configuration including Environment, Instance, Role and Cloud Connection
- Process Automation between system through Complex Workflow development in Cloud Platform Integration.
- Working on SAP APIs for auto deployment and update CPI Artifacts.
- Design, build, support, and monitor CPI interfaces; develop Groovy, Java, XSL mappings, EDI and XML communications, Proxies, interface definitions, and XSDs.
- Performance tuning and error handling in Cloud Platform.
- Configure RFC, SOAP, REST, IDOC with SAP Cloud Platform Integration.
- Communicate between IBP and File System using SAP CPI Data Services. Development of Process and Tasks

Education and Experience:
- 5-10 years’ experience; bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work

Compensation Range Transparency : SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 107300 - 182500(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
