You’ll enjoy a role supporting senior leadership with strategic insights while managing a remote team. Controller Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or Master’s preferred
• 5-10 years of leadership experience within multi-entity organizations
• Proven ability to manage remote teams effectively
• Deep understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency with ERP systems, accounting software, and advanced Excel skills
• Solid experience in budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls
• Excellent communication skills with a detail-oriented approach
• Ability to work independently while fostering team collaboration

Controller Main Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation and presentation of accurate financial statements ensuring compliance with GAAP
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Oversee the annual budgeting cycle and long-term financial forecasting
• Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets
• Collaborate with operational leaders to improve financial understanding and streamline processes
• Manage audit relationships and coordinate tax filings
• Supervise, mentor, and develop remote finance team members
• Drive system upgrades and process improvements, including a major banking transition
• Review and validate all general ledger entries and reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Support payroll processes and ensure timely financial reporting
