As a growing organization, we offer a supportive work environment, opportunities for professional growth, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in the field.
Position Summary
We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Account Manager to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a field-based environment and enjoys building strong, long-term partnerships with commercial customers. As an Account Manager, you will spend 50–75% of your time in the field, working directly with existing clients while also identifying opportunities to expand and grow your book of business.

- Conduct regular on-site visits to client locations for service evaluations, relationship building, and solution-based consultations.
- Understand each customer’s operational needs and recommend customized waste management solutions that add value and support their business goals.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, proactively addressing service concerns and coordinating with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, account activity, and growth opportunities within the CRM system; provide updates and forecasts to leadership.
- Work closely with operations, customer service, and billing teams to ensure seamless service delivery and exceed customer expectations.
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in account management, outside sales, or a customer-facing field role is preferred but not required. A strong desire to learn and grow is essential.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with customers, internal teams, and partners.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently present solutions and navigate client conversations.
- Ability to work independently in the field, manage multiple accounts, prioritize tasks, and meet retention and growth goals.
- Skilled at identifying challenges and delivering practical, customer-focused solutions.
- Comfortable managing a dynamic schedule in a role that requires 50–75% travel.
- Comfortable using CRM software, email, and Microsoft Office tools to manage accounts and track performance.
- Experience in waste management or a similar service-based industry is a plus.
