Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join a dynamic team in the Open Heart Intensive Care Unit (OHICU) located in York, Pennsylvania. This intensive care environment provides comprehensive care for critically ill and postoperative cardiothoracic and cardiovascular patients. The role demands expertise in advanced cardiac life support and recovery management for open heart surgery patients. This is a travel assignment that offers an enriching experience in a vibrant medical setting.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU

• Provide care for critically ill and postoperative patients
• Manage invasive hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
• Monitor and intervene in cases of arrhythmia
• Oversee advanced cardiac life support and pacemaker/ICD management
• Manage intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) and ventricular assist devices (VAD)
• Utilize CRRT and ECMO as required

Requirements of the RN - ICU

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an ICU environment
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
• Experience with EPIC charting system
