Liberty Personnel is currently working with boutique public accounting firm focused on providing high-quality tax planning and compliance services to privately held businesses, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals. We are seeking a motivated Staff Tax Associate to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience, work directly with experienced CPAs, and grow within a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare individual, partnership, and corporate federal and state income tax returns.

• Assist with tax projections, estimated tax calculations, and year-end planning for clients.

• Perform basic tax research and prepare workpapers to support tax positions.

• Analyze financial statements and client documents to gather information needed for tax filings.

• Support senior staff and partners in client engagements and special projects.

• Assist in maintaining client files and ensuring all deliverables are completed accurately and on time.

• Communicate with clients to request information and clarify questions.

• Stay current on tax law changes and accounting regulations relevant to client work.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or related field); currently pursuing or planning to pursue CPA certification.

• 0–2 years of experience in public accounting or tax preparation (internship experience accepted).

• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.

• Ability to work independently while being mentored by one of the best

Working Conditions:
This is an in-office position with some flexibility.
