About the Job
As a Lead Developer at KDG, your primary responsibility will be to create software solutions that deliver results and value for our customers. You will be expected to manage your own projects, deadlines, gathering requirements from clients and serve as the main point of communication and deliverables to the client. This position is perfect for a dynamic self-starter with strong analytical skills and a background/education in custom software solutions who is interested in building a lasting career.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide excellent customer service, both to our team and our clients through consistent communication.
· Be proficient in Microsoft technology stacks.
· Analyze, design, develop, test, and implement applications and databases.
· Work closely with analysts and end users to make sure that applications are performing as expected.
· Assist in UI/UX design, focusing on empathy-based solutions to confront the challenges facing our organization and our users.
· Participate in code reviews and pull requests, identifying and resolving performance issues and security concerns.
· Regularly modify relational, flat-file, and PaaS databases.
· Produce efficient, clean, and well-commented code.
· Collaborate closely with other teams, developers, project managers, quality assurance analysts, and senior management to build new features and applications.
· Resolve user interface, application, and database-related issues.
· Review, proofread, and format all correspondence to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Sample Projects: C# application with TS react front end with a postgres database.
Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline OR 4+ years of progressive experience as a software developer.
· Prior experience with source control technologies such as Git.
· Prior experience in software development, including proficiency in one or more programming languages across the Microsoft technology stacks.
· Understanding of UI/UX design principles.
· Familiarity with cybersecurity principles.
· Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
· Eagerness to take on multiple roles and step outside your comfort zone.
·Full development competency with SPA pattern/framework experience.
·Demonstrated experience in developing high-load applications using cloud infrastructure.
· Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
· Superior verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to use independent judgment and take personal initiative.
· Ability to plan and manage multiple tasks / projects with minimal supervision.
· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
· Deadline and detail-oriented.
