Pool Technician

Pacer Pool Services and Supplies Inc., Downingtown, PA. Daily transportation will be provided from a central location to and from worksites in the following counties: Chester, Berks, Delaware, Lancaster, Montgomery . * 4 Pool Technician positions available. Temporary, full time position from 04/01/2026 through 10/31/2026 ,* 7:30 am-6:00 pm, 58 hrs/week, Additional overtime varies, Monday-Saturday, Schedule varies, start/end times vary. Workers will be paid Weekly at $18.54/hr, $27.81/hr OT, Raises and bonuses at employer's discretion. Opportunity for higher pay depending on experience. Installing, servicing, and repairing swimming pool equipment. Pool equipment may include pool pumps, filtration systems (pool filters), pool heaters, chemical feeders, and pool pipes (PVC) & valves. Repairs may include identifying and fixing any of the forementioned equipment. Opening pools includes assembling accessories disassembled in the fall, starting the filter system and making sure everything is working properly. Closing pools for winter, includes disassembling the filter equipment, blowing and plugging the pipes with an air compressor. Pool water testing involves using a pool test kit and making the necessary corrections. Weekly pool cleaning (pool maintenance) is keeping the pool free of debris. Able to lift 50lbs. No experience required, will train. Employer may make payroll deductions at employee's request. Employer facilitates voluntary housing arrangements along with corresponding payroll deduction of approximately $350-$400/month per person. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. All deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law will be made. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the job. If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, employer will arrange and pay directly for initial transportation and subsistence costs from the place of recruitment to the place of employment for those traveling from such a distance they are not reasonably able to return to their residence each day. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. H2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, & other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).
