This is what your day to day will look like;
- Setup and operate CNC Swiss Lathe machines. Operations consists of Putting tools in machine, setting tool
- positions, adjusting tool offsets, replacing inserts and tools, prepping bars and bar ends and putting bars into the
- loader.
- Read and interpret blueprints; dimensional size and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
- Complete all paperwork required for the manufacturing process.
- Perform inspection of product to drawings and standards.
- Properly use and care for various types of inspection gages, fixtures and equipment used in the manufacturing
- process.
- Complete secondary operations such as part cleaning, deburring, etc.
- Move finished product to designated area.
- Manage time effectively to maximize production.
- Follow safe work practices and keep the work area clean and organized.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Must possess High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Minimum of two (2) years machining and/or CNC machining experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with team.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given,
- prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping.
- Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced.
