The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for supporting the end-to-end recruitment process to attract, source, and present top talent to the organization. This role involves working closely with senior team members, hiring managers, and driver - CDL candidates to ensure a seamless hiring experience. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will focus on administrative tasks, candidate sourcing, interview coordination, and building relationships with potential candidates to support staffing needs.
Recruitment Support:
Manage full-cycle recruitment process, including job posting, resume screening, and scheduling interviews.
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and desired candidate profiles.
Draft and update job descriptions to reflect accurate and engaging information about open roles.
Candidate Sourcing and Interview Coordination:
Use job boards, social media, and other online platforms to source and identify potential candidates.
Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
Conduct initial outreach and pre-screening of candidates to assess qualifications and interest.
Assist with pre-employment processes, including coordinating with the processing team to complete reference checks and background verification.
Support new hire onboarding by ensuring smooth communication between HR, hiring managers, and candidates.
Employer Branding:
Help promote the company’s employer brand through social media posts, career fairs, and community engagement.
Assist in organizing recruitment events to attract a diverse pool of candidates
Administrative Tasks:
Maintain and update applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment databases with accurate candidate information.
Prepare recruitment reports and metrics to track hiring progress and effectiveness.
Support senior recruiters with ad hoc projects and process improvements.
Special Projects and Other Duties as assigned

Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not required). High school diploma or GED required.
2+ years of experience in recruitment (internships or entry-level roles are a plus).
Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems (ATS) Workday and Google Suite proficiency
Excellent communication skills , both verbal and written, are required
Expertise with sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other job boards.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Strategic, dynamic, enthusiastic, and quick to take initiative
Highly motivated , goal driven, result oriented and team player
Proven track record of sourcing and landing top talent.
Prior experience recruiting driver candidates.
Preferred Qualifications :
Read and speak French
Experience recruiting sales professionals.
Experience recruiting driving / logistics professionals.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of recruitment metrics and analytics.
Interest or experience in employer branding initiatives.
Ability to quickly learn and adjust to new tools, systems, and processes.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond to requests and demands.
Works effectively with colleagues, hiring managers, and external stakeholders
